Ashley Flood, senior at Pierce High School in Arbuckle, won first place this year at the California State Speak-off contest. This year’s theme was "What can RCD's do to help bridge sustainable conservation practices with food safety practices." The contest was held on November 10 during the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts' annual conference which was held in Stockton this year. Ashley competed against five other excellent speakers. Congratulations to Ashley!
