The CCRCD is looking to gage county-wide interest in two potential programs that can increase monarch and pollinator habitat in Colusa County. The first is our RCD has the opportunity to apply for “Pollinator Kits” from Xerces society. If you have .15 acres that is open for planting with limited exposure to pesticide sprays, a pollinator kit may be in your farm or school’s future! Let us know you are interested ASAP!
If you are interested in a larger-scale restoration or enhancement project that would benefit monarchs there is a potential program through our California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD). The first step is to let us know you are interested in participating so we can firm up funding. The second step is to fill out this brief survey to give the CCRCD an understanding of cost and scope of your project idea.
