On October 21st, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) will re-open the 2019 SWEEP application period. The second solicitation will be open from October 21st to mid-December (8 weeks). Applications are due December 16th. The CCRCD is teaming up with RCD of Tehama County to provide workshops and technical assistance with the application process.
What is the SWEEP grant?
Through the SWEEP grant (Round 2) funding you can receive up to $100,000 to improve your on-farm water and energy efficiency.
Why attend a workshop?
Workshop attendees will receive an: • Overview of the SWEEP competitive grant process • Step-by-step instructions on how to apply for funding • Guidance through the required water savings and greenhouse gas reductions calculations • Tips on how to assemble a strong grant proposal • Opportunities for one-on-one support to complete and submit your application.
