The kick-off meeting for our Colusa County Grown project is Thursday, May 10, at 3:00 p.m. This project will promote Colusa County producers who sell their agricultural products directly to the consumer. We will be developing a marketing campaign, marketing materials for growers, a website and a local food guide.
The project will also promote the benefits of eating local, seasonal food.
Colusa County Grown is similar to “Placer Grown,” “Capay Valley Grown,” and other local ag marketing campaigns. Please join us to learn more about this project.

The Colusa County Resource Conservation District recently had some changes to our Board of Directors. Dedicated Board members Brandon Ash and Darrin Williams stepped down from the Board in late 2011. Brandon served an impressive 25 years on the CCRCD Board! Ben Felt and Kim Gallagher stepped up to fill the two empty seats. We are also pleased to have a new Associate Director, Sarah Reynolds. Welcome aboard!
